11th Annual Lone Pine Star Party

Once again, the BSAC, in conjunction Lone Pine State Park, will be hosting a public star party on Friday July 8, 2016. A PowerPoint presentation on the wonders of the night sky will precede the observiing session. The Montana Department of Fish, Wildlife and Parks will be collecting a $5.00 admission to attend the star party.
Club members will have their scopes set up in the upper parking lot near the Visitor's Center to observe the visible Planets, double stars, star clusters, galaxies, nebulae and other wonders of the Summer sky.
